You’re a Rockstar Baby
Do you ever make choice after choice in life and find yourself in a place you never thought you’d be? I can say that has happened many times in my life but I’m not sure I’ve ever been as satisfied with my choices since those I’ve been making lately.
It hit me as I was sitting on the 2nd floor balcony at the Whiskey a Go Go in Hollywood. How was I there? I live a rather calm life usually, downright boring by some people’s standards. Yet there I was watching people rock out on a Wednesday life. Living out their dreams, I could only imagine achieving the glory of rocking out a crowd. The response and excitement that a rock band can muster is enviable by political and religious leaders. I suppose the closest I’ll get to living this dream is via plastic triggers and a fake guitar. More of a fantasy than dream really.
But it was this reality that reunited DDI & EDLT. I did a band shoot for them back in September and here we were again to create some awesome imagery. It was my first attempt at concert photography and I learned quite a bit! Looking forward to their next show in January. Check them out at :
