My name is Edward De la Torre and I was born and raised in Torrance, CA. I currently reside here after once again after 4 years in Santa Cruz and 1 year in Hollywood.
My passion for photography started at an early age. My brother was at the time working on his own photography and would often take me on his photographic adventures. He shot and developed the (what it’s now known as) the old school way. His boxes of negatives and prints still lye in the family garage!
A few years later I took my first photography course in High School where I once again fell in love with photography. However, at the time a career in photography felt more like a lofty dream than an economically viable choice for a career. So nearly a decade and one business degree later I found myself not being economically viable for much of any work! A familiar story in today’s times. It was my education, experience, present opportunity, and reunion with my love for photography that has prompted me to start EDLT Photo.
As EDLT Photo I strive to bring affordable and beautiful photography for my clients. Sound business practices and customer satisfaction are the utmost important facets of EDLT Photo’s approach to honest business.
