I was invited by Diana & Rodrigo to attend their wedding and to provide coverage for the later portion of the festivities. Having spent time photographing many of the families events I was incredibly excited to come and photograph Diana & Rodrigo’s reception.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! I’m very lucky to have couples like D&R in my life. I hope they enjoy their photos.

I first met Andrew back in April and since he’s chopped off his hair and needed new shots. I’m glad to hear he’s concentrating more on acting and I wish him the best.

I’m no stranger to practice makes perfect and sometimes we need a couple of bad experiences during practice to really shine when it counts. Luckily I had Brenda to help me test out an idea I had.

Though we didn’t have the exact prop I wanted we still managed to pull off some great shots. I guess I wanted a bit more theatrical feel to them but I’m still pretty happy with them. More from the cutting floor later.

After seeing some of the portraiture work I did for Sanya Mateyas, Mr. Luna asked if I could make some portraits for him and his new business.

I appreciate the work he is doing. Though I love the internet and the ability to easily share your work it doesn’t satisfy as much as showing actual prints. Sharing and having your work seen and appreciated is much more satisfying than a comment box.

Here we have Sandra & Derek who aren’t scheduled to recite their vows ’till next year. For now we’ll have just have to enjoy a romantic stroll down Venice beach with a creepy photographer asking them to hug & kiss on demand.

The idea behind the series “Muerte Colorada” was a juxtaposition of the austere appearance of death against bright and colorful watercolor paintings to define the Latin American tradition of Dia De los Muertos (Day of the Dead). This event is a day (or night) of remembrance and celebration.

The series is now available on my store front for purchase. The prints come in 3 sizes and 3 different formats (Standard Print, Standout, Canvas). A few of the sizes are also available on Metallic Paper.

To celebrate this & my birthday (Which just occurred an hour ago!) the website has also gone under a slight upgrade.

I had the wonderful opportunity to donate some of my photography to the beautiful organization that is Corazon De Vida. They support orphanages in Baja California with various resources and volunteer work. Here are a few photos from the event. I put my camera down for the night and spent quality time with the guests as I admired with them the works of art displayed in the gallery area. It was an amazing night and I can’t wait for my next event.

Location, location, location. I found myself last week at a client’s loft once again and it has me seriously considering the Downtown Los Angeles area. Just beautiful beautiful light to enhance all the beautiful people that cross my lens — and here is one more!
